TrustTexas Bank Wins Statewide Best of Community Banking Awards
The Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT)—the largest state community banking association in the nation—recently honored TrustTexas Bank with two Best of Community Banking (BOCB) Awards. It received a gold award in the bank culture category and a silver award in the marketing category.
2018 marks the 27th year that IBAT has celebrated the outstanding accomplishments of Texas community banks with the BOCB Award. Community banks, such as TrustTexas Bank, play a critical role in their local areas. The Best of Community Banking competition is designed to honor banks for their commitment to helping their customers, employees, neighbors and community. BOCB Awards recognize community banks throughout the state for their innovation, creativity and success in fulfilling a specific community or internal need. Each submission received a gold, silver or bronze award in one of five categories: bank culture, community service, financial literacy, marketing and architectural design.
To receive the gold award in the bank culture category, TrustTexas Bank submitted a written narrative and design board entitled “Discover the TrustTexas Bank Universe – Out of This World Since 1921” describing how the bank stands out from others. The bank is not just a community bank, it is a family made up of eighty individuals that work together to make their communities a better place to live and stand by the following core values in their work and personal lives: Friendliness, Teamwork, Trustworthiness, High Quality Service, and Commitment.
For the silver award in the marketing category, the bank submitted a second written narrative and design board entitled, “TrustTexas Bank is Out of ‘Site’ – Website Liftoff 2018” detailing the bank’s Website Redesign Project. The redesigned website reflects the progress TrustTexas Bank is making to provide their customers with the best experience – from in-person to online.
All BOCB gold, silver and bronze winners were on display during IBAT’s 44th Annual Convention in San Antonio, September 22-25, 2018.
